We Are Leaving The Worthing Dome

Wedding at the Worthing Dome by Paul Fletcher Photography

It is with a heavy heart that after 11 years, the Worthing Dome Events team is leaving the Worthing Dome on December 21st, 2021. Do not fear that this means the closure of the entire building, merely that we, as a company who run the event spaces and Vintage Tea Room, will no longer be operating them

These last few months have been spent hosting some wonderful weddings and events, many postponed from 2020 due to the pandemic. Our last event is on December 18th - we do have a few dates available for Christmas or private parties should anyone be looking for a fantastic venue for a celebration. Contact James@worthingdomeevents.co.uk with any enquiries. As for the Tea Room, we will be making decisions shortly as to when we stop trading and will let you all know.

We want to give our most sincerest thanks to all who have trusted us with their important occasions. When we started at the Worthing Dome we already had 20 years of experience with events, and this last 11 years has been an amazing ride. It has been wonderful to meet you all and to grow and learn with you. Thank you for helping us become the best venue we could be, and it has been a pleasure ensuring your day and celebrations were perfect.

The Vintage Tea Room was built up from nothing after a refurb in 2012. The generic space it was before the transformation wasn’t on anyone’s list of places to go. But over the years we have been joined by wonderful customers, who find so much joy in the vintage memorabilia, friendly staff, and delicious food. We know that to some, the Tea Room means a lot. We know that for some, the Tea Room has made a profound difference to their lives. We thank you for choosing us, and wish you well.

As for the future, for now, we will be going our separate ways. Covid has been especially hard-hitting for the hospitality industry and now is a chance for rest and reflection. But once it's time to regroup – watch this space because we do hope to find a new venue.

Thank you,

Rob, James, and the Worthing Dome Events Team.
