Vintage Tea Room
Open daily, 10.00 am - 5.00 pm
This is a rare independently owned tea room inspired by all things iconic and beautiful from any vintage period in Britain, whether it is 1920’s cocktails or mods and rockers, Falcon enamelware to Singer sewing machines. There has been a tea room or milk bar here since 1911 when the building was first opened as a roller-skating rink and entertainment centre. Now with three cinema screens, the building still holds its old charm and is perfectly situated a pebbles throw from the beach. Not just open to the public, the Vintage Tea Room is a quirky space for party hire after 6.00 pm. For more information please take a look at our Party Venue and Dining Events pages.

We love whole leaf tea, homemade scones, and Sussex Cheeses. The food and drink is a celebration of classic British seaside fayre from PG Tips and British Full English Breakfasts, to Blackdown Sussex Gin and Knickerbocker Glories. Open From 10.00 am -5.00 pm, the Vintage Tea Room has a delicious menu to satisfy all appetites. Breakfasts are served until 2.00 pm, with all other items available all day. Our coffees are aromatic, and the Gin menu extensive.
Table Bookings are advisable. To reserve your table at the Vintage Tea Room please fill out this form and we will respond with confirmation.

Young ones are welcome with games and colouring books available to entertain, and we have a special 'Little People's Menu' for them to enjoy.

Vintage Tea Room Reviews
The Dome vintage tea room is a lovely place to visit, for a sea front tea room it's very clean and tidy, an excellent choice of meals and snacks and of good quality too, the toilets i found to be bright and very clean, it also has a disabled toilet that doubles for a baby changing room, if you come by bus to Worthing, then for one the 700 coastliner bus stops right outside, there's both seating inside and outside and it's next to the stagecoach bus office, and lastly a novel idea, you have a mug of tea but it's brought to you in a half pint beer glass with a handle on, lovely.
So cute and cosy, music in keeping with tea room theme. Enjoyed a pot of tea and some amazing Victoria sponge after a busy shift, perfect, felt so calm and relaxed, a lovely escape from a life that is usually fast paced and often hectic. Highly recommend.
I just wanted to say I very much enjoyed my cream tea in your Vintage Tea room cafe on Sat at about 3.30 pm. Very tasty and served by friendly staff in a nice atmosphere looking out on the beach and pier! The Cinema itself looked impressive too – I shall try to visit again sometime and see a film! Well Done!
I'd like to let you know that the food was amazing and the service couldn't be better. On behalf of my family and me,

Huge shout out to Kate for going the extra mile for me. Having recently discovered a number of food intolerances I shared my dilemma with Kate who then happily took herself to the kitchen to check labels and ingredients for me. Really impressed with this level of customer care. Thanks Kate, really appreciated!
